Carmen is obsessed with the idea of riding a trapeze once more. She exercises, swims, dances, lifts weight... She exercises constantly in order to be in shape just in case another circus comes to town. But all this led to a tendinitis caused by excessive weight lifting that forced her to remain in bed for several weeks. Back in shape and inside the Paris Circus big top, we had to hide the trapeze to stop her from flying again. In spite of being 84 years old, THE SWINGING DOLL never loses hopes and still dreams of swinging from a trapeze once more. Every morning she asks her friend Rosalía if a new circus has come to town.
