Laura es una mujer trans de sesenta y cinco años que dejó el cabaret y el alterne en el momento álgido de su fama para cuidar de su madre. Ahora, veinte años después, quiere volver al trabajo. Se siente mayor, recuerda el pasado con nostalgia y está llena de inseguridades, pero al ver que sus amigas siguen trabajando después de tantos años, algo le dice que nunca es tarde. Laura is a sixty-five-year-old trans woman who left the cabaret and nightlife scene when she was at the height of her fame to look after her mother. Twenty years later, she now wants to return to work. She feels her age, looks back on the past with a sense of nostalgia and is full of self-doubt, but when she sees her friends still working after all these years, something tells her it’s never too late.
